Amir Johri is a physician with a Master of Public Health from the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University Atlanta. His area of specialization is Environmental and Occupational Health. He has taught environmental health (EH) at the Institute of Public Health in Lahore and at the Health Services Academy in Islamabad in Pakistan. He has also served as the WHO National Technical Officer for EH at the WHO Office in Islamabad. Since 2005, he is working as Scientist for Environmental Health Risk Assessment at the WHO Centre for Environmental Health Activities (CEHA) in Amman Jordan. Dr. Johri's areas of work include EH risk assessment/management, EH strategies and policies, EH in occupational health, and healthy settings among others.
