Vision: The Eastern Mediterranean region where poisoning and toxic exposures are prevented, recognized early, and managed optimally-with a unified, resilient toxicology community elevating public and environmental health across the region.

Mission: MENATOX is a non-profit professional association dedicated to improving the care of poisoned patients in the Eastern Mediterranean region through:

• Fostering collaboration and communication among toxicology professionals, poison centers, and allied stakeholders

• Advancing education, training, and standard-setting in clinical toxicologyPromoting and facilitating interdisciplinary research into toxic exposures, prevention, and treatment

• Supporting poison information and response infrastructure, environmental and occupational toxicology, and emergency readiness

• Engaging with national, regional, and global agencies to build capacity, influence policy, and enhance sustainability
