Chinelo Henrietta Okonkwo is a Deputy Director, Pharmacy Department, National Hospital Abuja. She is the Head of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacovigilance Unit at the hospital. She is also a Fellow of West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacist.

Chinelo is a clinical pharmacist with a Masters degree and PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology. She is a certified clinical pharmacologist and pharmacometrician. As an advocate of patient safety and quality of pharmaceutical products, she is a foundational member of Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee, the current and pioneer Chairman of Pharmacovigilance committee at her institution.
