Welcome to MENATOX!

It is my privilege to welcome you to the official website of the Middle East and North Africa Clinical Toxicology Association (MENATOX). Our organization was established to address a clear and growing need in our region: a strong, collaborative, and academically grounded platform dedicated to clinical toxicology and poison management.

Toxicological emergencies remain a major yet often under-recognized public health challenge across the Middle East and North Africa. MENATOX exists to advance excellence in patient care, education, research, and policy by bringing together clinicians, toxicologists, emergency physicians, pharmacists, researchers, and public health professionals who share a commitment to improving outcomes in poisoning and toxic exposures.

Through our educational initiatives, scientific meetings, clinical rounds, and regional collaborations, MENATOX aims to promote evidence-based practice, support capacity building, and foster leadership in clinical toxicology across the region. We are equally committed to supporting trainees and early-career professionals, recognizing that sustainable progress depends on mentorship, training, and rigorous academic standards.
