Dr. Musa Alfaifi

Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician and Medical Toxicologist; Director of Toxicology Services and Emergency Medicine Training Program, KSA
Dr. Musa Suliman Alfaifi, MBBS, SBEM, FACMT is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology based in the Aseer Region of Saudi Arabia. He obtained his MBBS from King Khalid University and completed residency training in Emergency Medicine at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Riyadh, achieving First Honor Degree in the Saudi Board of Emergency Medicine. He completed a Fellowship in Medical Toxicology at Emory University, Atlanta, and was elected Fellow of the American College of Medical Toxicology in 2024. Dr. Alfaifi also holds a Diploma in the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research from Harvard Medical School and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from King Saud University for Health Specialties. He currently serves as Consultant in Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology and Director of the Toxicology Service at the Armed Forces Hospital Southern Region, where he is also Program Director of the Emergency Medicine Training Program. Dr. Alfaifi is a founding leader in establishing the Saudi fellowship of Medical Toxicology and and has contributed to the development of Arab Board of Medical Toxicology in the MENA region. Dr. Alfaifi is a founder of structured Emergency Medicine training programs in the Southern Region of Saudi Arabia. And he is founder of emergency medicine diploma in southern region. His research interests include clinical toxicology, envenomation, pesticide poisoning, and public health, with publications in multiple international peer-reviewed journals.
